EACH BURRIS PIECE IS HANDMADE TO ORDER IN OUR ATELIER IN NEW YORK CITY, THEREFORE BURRIS ACCEPTS LIMITED RETURNS AND EXCHANGES. IF YOU WISH TO RETURN YOUR ITEM, PLEASE CONTACT SALES@BURRISMILLINERY.COM TO REQUEST A RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF RECEIPT. WE MUST RECEIVE RETURNED ITEMS WITHIN SEVEN DAYS OF AUTHORIZATION; UNWORN AND IN THE SAME CONDITION AS SENT. PLEASE INQUIRE WITH ANY QUESTIONS PRIOR TO PURCHASE.

SIZING

WHAT IS MY HEAD SIZE? 

TO MEASURE ONES HEAD SIZE, PLACE A SOFT TAPE MEASURE AT MID FOREHEAD BETWEEN THE EYES.  WHILE KEEPING THE TAPE MEASURE LEVEL CAREFULLY WALK  IT AROUND THE CIRCUMFERENCE OF THE HEAD.

BURRIS HATS ARE MADE TO ORDER TO THE SIZE OF YOUR CHOICE. PLEASE SPECIFY AT TIME OF ORDER PLACEMENT IN THE CHECK OUT NOTES AND THE HAT WILL BE MADE ACCORDINGLY. MOST PIECES ARE CREATED TO THE AVERAGE MALE HEAD SIZE OF 23 INCHES (MEDIUM). IF YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE SLIGHTLY SMALLER AT 22.5 INCHES (SMALL) OR LARGER AT 23.5 INCHES (LARGE), 24 INCHES (EXTRA LARGE) PLEASE HIGHLIGHT THIS IN THE NOTES.

ORDER FULFILLMENT

HOW IS MY ORDER FULFILLED? 

ALL BURRIS MILLINERY IS MADE TO ORDER IN NEW YORK CITY. ONCE AN ORDER IS PLACED AND PAID FOR, PROCESSING BEGINS.  PLEASE ALLOW FOR UP TO A 2 WEEK LEAD TIME FOR YOUR ORDER TO BE COMPLETED.  IF AN ORDER IS EXPECTED TO TAKE LONGER, YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED IMMEDIATELY. GIVEN THAT EACH PIECE IS INDIVIDUALLY HANDMADE BY THE MILLINERS IN THE ATELIER, THERE MAY BE SLIGHT VARIATIONS, BUT THAT IS AN ELEMENT OF THE BEAUTY IN HANDMADE PRODUCED HATS.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER ?

IS SALES TAX APPLICABLE?

SALES TAX IS APPLICABLE ON ALL ORDERS SHIPPED WITHIN NEW YORK STATE. THE RATE IS 8.875%. FOR ORDERS SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF NEW YORK STATE, SALES TAX DOES NOT APPLY.

WHY CAN’T I PURCHASE EXOTIC SKINS OUTSIDE OF THE U.S OR IN CALIFORNIA?

EXOTIC SKINS ARE NOT SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF THE UNITED STATES OR TO CALIFORNIA DUE TO VARYING CUSTOM IMPORT LAWS AND FEES. PLEASE CONTACT INFO@BURRISMILLINERY.COM IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PLACE A CUSTOM ORDER WITH ASSOCIATED FEE’S AND PERMITS.
